Cycling Classes

New to Uptown Cycle, or cycling classes in general? No worries! No matter where you’re at on your fitness journey, Uptown Cycling classes are modifiable for any fitness level.

Arrive Early

Arrive 10-15 minutes before your first class. You’ll need to sign a waiver before your first ride and get acquainted with the studio.

Get Fitted

Your instructor will help you set up your bike for a proper fit. Once your bike feels comfortably adjusted to you, take note of your seat height and reach numbers for future use.

Bring Your Stuff

Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during your class, as well as shoes for cycling the bike. Athletic shoes are fine, or you may bring clip-in shoes. No street shoes, please.

Dry Off

Hand towels are provided in the studio (you’re going to get sweaty!), as well as chilled lavender towels for cooling down after class.

Pedal 'n Pump

In this 45-minute class, you will spend 30 minutes on the bike for cycle-cardio training and 15 minutes off the bike for body resistance training and stretching. This is a high-intensity workout that incorporates full-body, dynamic movements using dumbbells, interval drills, and multi-directional movements to improve cardiovascular conditioning and functional strength.

Ride The Rhythm

It’s a party on the bike! This beat-based cycle class incorporates sprints, climbs, and choreography to the rhythm and beat of the music. Tailor the class to your liking by exploring a range of resistances to test your personal goals and limits to find new levels of performance.

Hills & Sprints/15 Tabata

A high-Intensity, cycle workout that incorporates dumbbells, varying intervals, and multi-directional movements. The class consists of 30 minutes of Hills & Sprints on the bike coupled with 15 minutes of total body Tabata.

After [Work] Burn

Burn off your workday stress in this 45-minute cycle cardio class. Ride the rhythm, sprint, climb, recover and repeat. Refocus your weekly intentions and sweat it out!

Cycle-Core

Revitalize your morning routine with this 45-minute kick in the pants class! You will spend 30 minutes on the bike for cycle cardio and 15 minutes off-the-bike for an ab workout and stretching session.

Body Blast

Take your fitness to the next level with this 1-hour, full-body workout that is strictly off the bike! This class will incorporate weights, coupled with body resistance training to build strength and muscular endurance. It's a great way to add resistance to your regular cardio routine!

Weekend Kick-Off

Hey...WHOA...Not so fast. Before you dive into your weekend plans, let's be sure not to spoil all the effort you put forth over the course of the week. Dedicate yourself to 45-minutes of "get up and go" to set the tone of your arranged engagements. Plus, since the class doesn't start until 9am, that gives you an ample amount of time to find some coffee beforehand.

Burn the Beat

Start your week off right with a fun class that incorporates a new and exciting themed playlist, played by a LIVE DJ every week. You will really focus on working to the beat of the music and tuning into your movements. This class will leave you feeling energized and ready to take on the week ahead!
